This is Jimmy James. He is a makeup artist and an impressionist. He is known for his voice impressions of famous stars such as Cher, Billie Holiday, Eartha Kitt, Barbra Streisand, Bette Davis, Judy Garland, Diana Ross, Madonna, Macy Gray, Patsy Cline, Karen Carpenter, and many more. His most known visual impersonation is Marilyn Monroe.
Out of all the Marilyn impersonators I’ve seen, Jimmy James is spot on in my opinion. He does Marilyn’s walk, talk, personality, and physical appearance so perfectly that it seems as though he IS Marilyn. I’m so amazed, I can’t get over it!
[AUDIO] Ventriloquist dummy Charlie McCarthy marries Marilyn Monroe on The Edgar Bergen Show in 1952. Marilyn comes in at 1:52.
“Hey… it’s cold here!” LOL ahhhh I love her ♡
Outtakes from Something’s Got To Give ♡ Also featuring Happy Birthday, Mr. President performance, the beach photo shoot with Bert Stern, and clips from the day of her funeral.
Since anon and I were admiring how beautiful Marilyn was in the unfinished film Something’s Got To Give, I thought I might as well make a post for those of you who haven’t seen the completed scenes. It would’ve been a wonderful film for sure. Here is part one of six. (These are just the scenes that Marilyn completed)
PART 2 | PART 3 | PART 4 | PART 5 | PART 6
Another YouTube Channel marilyn69monroe uploaded more scenes from the film. I was going to share that one with you all but for some reason Part 2 is missing… if you want to watch the other parts anyway, click here. :-)
Marilyn’s rendition of “That Old Black Magic” in Bus Stop just might be my favorite performance out of all of her films. I love her rendition 100x better than the original. Every movement, expression, etc. in her performance is perfection and complete magic to me. For weeks I’ve been watching this non-stop.
(P.S. Every video of this on YouTube is in another language other than English so I apologize that you have to hear Bo screaming in French or something LOL)
Do you have any questions you’d like to know about me?
If so, reply with your questions and I’ll make a video of myself answering them! I think it’ll be a fun way to get to know me : )
You can ask me questions having to do with Marilyn such as how many books I’ve read on her, when did I become fan, etc.
Whatever you’d like to know about me, I’ll answer!
