I was at the mall today and I found some Marilyn things in a store called Icing. :D

The first thing I bought is a notebook with images of Marilyn from The Seven Year Itch. It’s so cute! I can’t wait to use it!

The second thing I bought is a 50th Anniversary Edition set that comes with a 60-minute DVD and a 255 paged biography including beautiful photos which I will definitely scan for you guys. I took two pictures of the inside to give a glimpse.

The total was $30, but since I had a Visa Giftcard I only had to pay $10 out of my pocket. Not bad!

Here is my final item: a stamp sheet. (Sorry that its kind of blurry and also about the huge glare from my light.) I saved it for last because it’s my absolute favorite. Here’s the story behind it…
In early summer of 2011 I was over my aunt and uncle’s house. I was wearing my MM tank top, and my family was surprised that I was a fan. My grandparents began to talk about her and how beautiful she was. My uncle said “I have something for you, I’ll be right back.” A few minutes later he came back with this full sheet of Marilyn Monroe stamps. He told me he has been collecting limited edition stamps most of his life, which I never knew. Whenever he buys them he immediately secures them so they never get ruined. He basically buys them, puts them away, and never looks at them again to keep them in perfect condition. This stamp sheet is from 1995, the year after I was born. He told me very few people in the world have this. I was so touched that he trusts me enough to own something this special. I have it framed on my wall and I’m so lucky to have it. This is my favorite Marilyn Monroe item.

1. I bought The Misfits DVD from Rite Aid in October of 2011 I believe. It was only like $4 lol. I don’t have any other MM DVDs because I have Netflix. I day I would like to own all of her films anyway.

2. I bought this MM ornament from Kohls in early December. The Seven Year Itch dress has sparkles all over it! I love it so much that it’s now on my jewelry stand for decoration until Christmas comes again.

3 & 4. My mother bought me both of these for Christmas. 3 is a super cute MM Anniversary clock with a New York theme. The middle is a spinning pendulum. 4 is a Marilyn by Sam Shaw 2012 calendar.

These are cute little pictures that are hung up on my wall. My friends had bought them for me for Christmas from Icing.

A friend of mine had bought me these posters for me a few months ago. The first one is a painting of Marilyn and James Dean, whom I also adore. The second is a beautiful door poster.

These are all of my Marilyn shirts. They in order in which I had purchased them or were given to me as a gift.

1. This tank top is the very first MM shirt I bought. I bought it around June of 2011 from Kohls.

2. I bought this super cute and cozy MM sweater from Kohls in September or October of 2011. It reads “Femme Fatale” and features a photo by Cecil Beaton.

3. This is actually a night gown. I bought this in Joyce Leslie in October of 2011.

4. My mom had bought this for me in Old Navy in October or November of 2011.

5. I bought this online on Black Friday in 2011 from Forever 21. It features a photo of Marilyn applying her lipstick with quotes around it.

6. My dear friend had bought this for me for Christmas. I believe she said she bought it at Target.

7 & 8. I bought the both of these at the same time at Hot Topic after Christmas. 7 is a photo by Sam Shaw. 8 is a Day of The Dead theme. A lot of people think its a creepy shirt but I love it.
